Kitchen Cabinet Painting & Refinishing

Get the look of a new kitchen or bathroom for a fraction of the cost of replacing cabinets.

Kitchen cabinets painted bright white with brushed gold pulls, marble-look counters and tile backsplash

Cabinet painting is detail work. We remove doors and drawer fronts, label every piece, clean off years of kitchen grease, sand, and use a bonding primer so the finish actually grips the surface instead of peeling at the edges.

Finish coats are applied for a smooth, even surface, and we use hard-curing cabinet enamels that stand up to daily wiping and handling. We can also install new hardware while everything is apart.

Garage cabinets refinished in a tough charcoal gray: cabinet painting isn't just for kitchens and bathrooms.

Whether it's white oak-look cabinets going to a modern white, a two-tone kitchen with a navy island, or a refreshed bathroom vanity, cabinet painting is one of the highest-impact upgrades per dollar you can make.

Cabinet Painting FAQs

How long does cabinet painting take?

A typical kitchen takes about a week from start to finish, since doors are removed, primed and given time to cure between coats. You'll still have access to your kitchen for most of that time.

Will painted cabinets chip?

Not when they're prepped and coated correctly. Degreasing, sanding, bonding primer and a hard-curing enamel are what separate a lasting finish from one that chips at the edges.

Is painting cheaper than replacing cabinets?

Yes, by a wide margin. If your cabinet boxes are solid, painting gives you a fresh look for a fraction of the cost and disruption of a remodel.
